About Us / Copeland Family Farms History: We are a community farm share, families in the community come to the farm and collect eggs, milk the cows and goats, raise meat chicks, hogs, they decide which programs they want to grow.
We train you how to milk the cows, we keep the herd in good health and you use our automated milking equipment. You take home 7 to 10 gallons of milk.
We have yogurt making and cheesemaking classes all year long.
The farm is a family friendly place where you and your children can picnic, milk the cows, collect eggs and enjoy the peace and tranquility.
We also raise Moneymaker Meat goats, you can buy USDA goat meat right from the farm but you MUST be a member of the co-op to purchase meat, milk, cheese etc. We sell our goat meat by the half or whole.
Members sell vegetables, duck eggs, chicken eggs, fruits and jelly's to each other. Cost is $40 a lifetime for a family undivided interest in the herd, $50 per year dues. IF you want milk you must pay your dues and herdshare fees, then you may buy milk at $4 a half gallon or milk yourself for less than $3 a gallon
