About Us / Didaskalos Farm History: We are here! In Donalds, SC. We have changed our name to Didaskalos Farm. By the providence of God we are now working our small farm in Donalds. SC and farming since 2004. We currently milk our registered Jersey cow named Callie and we are getting ready to breed our heifer Poppy. Callie's calf Helen is almost a year old now and is almost as big as our heifer. We drink our milk raw! We are about 95% grass fed and we use as natural approach to farming as God has designed. Our chickens: Cinnamon Queens, Silver Laced Wyandottes and Buckeye are doing great and supplying delicious eggs daily. We also have 15 new guinea keets in the brooder with an additional 30 baby chicks coming to the farm the week of Oct 8th. Our chickens are truly free range and our eggs are the best! They go fast so email or call if you are looking for some. They are $3.00 per dozen. We have added three registered Saanen goats to the farm. Two does and a buck to begin a small dairy herd for making Feta Cheese! We are planting some organic apple trees as well as some strawberries and grapes. Lord willing we can grow our own organic apples here as it seems that it is almost unheard of at all anymore. We will be focusing more on teaching the many aspects of farm life. Such as cheese making, cow milking, chick brooding and natural ways to eat and live. So give the farm a call if you are in the neighborhood or desire to visit this neck of the woods.
