About Us / Frog Hollow Farm History: We are the Whiting family; Tim, Bobbie, Timmy-16, Ben-14, Sam-11, Ellie-9, and Luke-2. We've been farming for about 12 years and love raising and caring for our animals. Now we're sharing them with you!We have approximately 300 laying hens, and of course some roosters!Also living here are:3 pygmy goats-Pierre, C.C., & Dorothy for weed control and amusement5 california red sheep-Zeke, Paul, Callie, Honey, & Eve for light wool3 shetland sheep-Betty, Alma, & Beatrice for dark wool2 Meremma Sheepdogs- Frisco & Kimber for keeping away predators2 Barn cats- Roxy & O'neill for catching pesky mice and things that aren't nice1 Scottish Deerhound-Foster for looks1 House cat-Norma for beautySome guineas for tick control& a few peacocks for color!Our hens lay approximately 70 dozen eggs per week. They live an ideallife in our lovely coops which is built for comfort, cleanliness, and safety from predators. We get our organic feed milled fresh for us from Lancaster County. Their diet and bedding consists of only the highest quality. Our birds have as much outside time each day as they choose to forage for bugs and other delectable treats all while being kept safe by our hard-working sheep dogs! We strive to live a healthy lifestyle, engage in community, form relationships and seek opportunities for learning and service.Products: EGGS...
