About Us / Kilgus Farmstead History: Kilgus has seventeen, two and a half acre paddocks of lush grass where cows graze from April until late November. Cows are rotated to a fresh paddock of grass every 24 hours. Kilgus cows are kept healthy with a life expectancy of 8 years. Antibiotics are used on cows when they get sick in order to keep them healthy. They bottle their own milk on the farm. They also have a large permanent hoop structure where they house 140 goats for their small goat meat operation.
