About Us / Land's Sake History: Land’s Sake was founded in 1980 by a small group of agrarian-minded folks who wanted to institutionalize sustainable public land stewardship and energize land-loving people to celebrate and preserve the historical agricultural heritage of the town.
Today, we're a 501(c)3 non-profit farm focusing on education, farming, and forestry to inspire lifelong stewardship of the land throughout our community. We have a thriving CSA and Farm Stand through the efforts of an energetic, talented, and dedicated crew of farmers led by Erik Baum and rocking farm education programs for kids ages 2 - 17 directed by Amy Christiansen. We also have an extensive hunger relief program, partnering with local institutions like Rosie's Place and Community Servings to donate over 10,000 pounds of fresh vegetables every year to people who need them.
We hope you enjoy our organically-grown vegetables and our own maple syrup and honey. Come spend time on our public farm picking your own flowers and veggies, shopping at our farm stand, and walking around our beautiful fields. Want to get involved?
