About Us / Milagro Moon Ranch History: Our growing herd of huacaya alpacas currently numbers ten, soon to be thirteen. We have recently added a few angora goats to the mix for some fiber variety. We sell raw fleece as well as roving and, sometime, yarn made from our animals' fiber. We also keep a small herd of high-quality LaMancha dairy goats for our personal milk use and for making Milagro Moon Fine Soaps (100% goat's milk soaps). On our ten acres at the base of South Mountain, east of Albuquerque, we believe farm diversity is important, so we also keep chickens for fresh eggs, and a small garden for fresh tomatoes and chiles. We also believe visitors are important, so give us a call. We'd love to show you our special place under the vast east mountain skies.Milagro Moon Ranch participates in the annual East Mt. Fiber Farm and Studio Tour every June (the dates for 2008 are June 7-8, 10-5). You will also find us with some of our fiber products and soaps at various local events. Depending on animal births in the spring, we may have alpacas and dairy goats for sale.
