About Us / Molter Family Orchards History: Molter Family Orchards has grown out of a vision Aaron Molter had back in 2007 to farm organically on the acres that had been farmed by three generations of his family before him. As the land had been allowed to rest for many years, Aaron was able to begin farming and become organically certified in 2008. Since then, him and his wife, Kari, have worked to maintain healthy soil and produce quality fruit. The farm consists of approximately 25 acres of fruit trees (apples, sweet cherries, peaches and plums). They have sold their fruit to numerous local co-ops for the past 3 years, as well as Whole Foods, and are now excited to be able to offer a wider selection of fruits and vegetables to the local community! In season, they open the farm up for u-pick (hayrides on the weekends during apple season) and picnics.
