About Us / Morrison Orchards History: We are a Michigan Centennial Farm, owned and operated by the same Scottish immigrant family since 1864. Seasonally, we sell at our roadside stand: sweet cherries, sweet corn, and Red Haven peaches, and many varieties of apples, including Gala, Northern Spy, NW Greening, HoneyCrisp, Fuji, Ida Reds,Delicious, Spartan, Braeburn, Granny Smith and several others. We also have pick- your -own tart cherries. On occasion and by pre-order, wild black raspberries are available. We also have sage and thyme, comfrey, and horseradish root available seasonally - fresh picked by request from Kathy's garden. We pick our produce fresh daily (we have no cold storage facilities) and sell what we pick each day so that you have the freshest produce possible. We strongly believe in the idea of shopping locally and supporting family owned and operated businesses, knowing that it creates a stronger community and is far more environmentally and nutritionally sound than transporting food long distances.
