About Us / Onederings Lavender & Herb Farm History: Onederings, located between Cincinnati and Columbus, is a peaceful place filled with lavender, herbs, butterflies and birds. In mid June we have U-Pick Lavender of many varieties We have a cottage Lavender and Herb store with aromatherapy and skin care products. We also have lovely herbal teas and of course a variety of Lavender ( fresh in season) and herbs. Here is what you will find when you visit: A one acre field of Lavender plants thriving amidst butterflies and sunlight. Harvesting the lavender from June to September is delightful and relaxing. Walk about and take a taste of the different herbs. They are clearly labeled and an easy to understand help guide is close by. Harvesting begins in July and continues through October.Benches are scattered around for peaceful solitude or friendly conversation. In addition, and by special request/order, there are a variety of rare Ohio woodland plants available such as blood root, large flowered trillium, and the popular medicinal plant, Goldenseal. There are workshops on making herbal teas, wreath making and more. Or arrange a field trip for your group to tour the associated Trillium Hills Tree Farm and learn about the biodiversity study that is in progress. We are certified by Ohio State Forestry as a Family Tree Farm which practices good woodland care. We are also certified as a habitat refuge. We have a herd of deer, fox, mink, rabbits, hawks( several kind), ground hogs, wild turkeys, raccoons, many, many types of butterflies, 4 types of wood peckers and more. You may arrange a private tea for your group or join one of our open teas or workshops.
