About Us / P.E.A.C.H. Community Farm History: People for Environmental Action & Community Health (p.e.a.c.h.) generates opportunities for low-income people to access local, sustainably produced food and to excel in agricultural careers. Just over the hill from bustling downtown Spokane lies the bountiful land of the P.e.a.c.h. Community Farm. Here lives Director of Farming Chrys Ostrander with his daughter Lyra in a passive solar, earth-bermed farmhouse. Outbuildings built with hand-made mud bricks of farm soil house the goats, chickens, and ducks. Other buildings house tools and market preparation space.
