About Us / Southtown Farms History:

Southtown Farms is a true old fashioned free range poultry farm. We raise our flocks on a simple diet of sunshine, fresh water, and whatever our birds can take from the earth naturally. We encourage our hens to take as much food as they can from our land and we supplement with manufactured feed only to maintain the health and safety of our flock. At no time do we use animal by-products, hormones, antibiotics, or GMO's in our feed. You want the best for your family, so feed them the best. As of 2012 we are starting to raise meat chickens. They are all grass fed, receive no hormones or antibiotics and are very active their entire life. You will notice that our chicken is not as fatty as your average chicken. Its simple: our birds have plenty of exercise and vegetables in there diet. Healthy food makes a healthy body, in humans and chickens.
