About Us / Triad Fisheries History: At Triad Fisheries, we pride ourselves in being stewards to Mother Nature. Our top priorities are sustainability and quality. All of our fish are hook and line caught; no nets are used. This not only allows us to safely release any species that is accidentally caught, it enables us to individually handle each fish, taking time and showing care to maintain their pristine, cold water, wild Alaskan quality. Our flagship product that embodies all of our principles is our Wild Alaskan, Frozen-at-Sea Salmon. It is the only true Sashimi grade wild Salmon and both our Coho and our King Salmon are bellwethers for Salmon across the globe.
Triad Fisheries has a long history of breaking ground in seafood sustainability, and continues to lead the way today. We were the first MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) Certified company to sell fish to Japan. We also were the very first company to be certified by Alaska’s RFM (Responsible Fisheries Management) program. We do everything we can to make sure we do not just meet, but exceed the standards established by these sustainability certification programs.
The cornerstone of our company is a love for aquaculture and the natural treasures of the sea. The hook and line method of catching fish, by its nature, is a time-intensive process that requires a dedication to preserving what the ocean has to offer. It also allows all of our products to have the highest degree of traceability. Each salmon is tagged and numbered so it can be traced back to a specific boat and time period. We follow every fish from the time it is caught to the time it is served on a plate.
Our brand, Bruce Gore, comes from the fisherman and founder of Triad, who helped pioneer our advanced fishing method in 1978. Since 2008, Mark and Beth Tupper have taken the lead to provide the highest quality salmon available. We hope you try and enjoy our delicious product that is always wild and always sustainable.
