About Us / Truly Living Well, Wheat Street Gardens History: Truly Living Well (TLW) was launched in 2006 under the leadership of Rashid Nuri, who has 40 years experience in food production and distribution in over 35 countries. His vision is to deliver higher quality food, using sound and sustainable practices kind to the earth and us. He is also concerned about enabling food and land access to consumers, so that they possess a greater connection to these. The people that work with TLW are the cornerstone to its success. Eugene Cooke is the farm operations lead, and like Rashid, he is passionate about the work they do. Often, you can find them at the Wheat Street Gardens, tending to the land or facilitating the market. The Wheat Street Gardens has a market on Friday afternoons, 2-6pm during winter. There is another farm and produce pick up site based in East Point, Atlanta (Wednesday afternoons, check the website). CSAs are available. The Wheat Street Baptist Church site is open to visitors and tours are available. A truly unique urban farm, and a unique founder. Visit and you'll leave basking in the in beauty of this setting.
