About Us / Tuttle Orchards History: Tuttle Orchards has been serving the apple, flower, & vegetable needs of the Indianapolis area for over 80 years. Specializing in fruit, vegetable, and greenhouse crops, Tuttles began as an apple orchard in 1928 when Roy Tuttle planted the first apple tree with his daughter, Virginia. Today the orchard grows 22 different kinds of apples on 4750 trees on 32 acres. Award winning apple cider is made fresh on the farm weekly. Tuttles also has over 35 acres in vegetable crops including tomatoes, sweet corn, cucumbers, peppers, melons, green beans, squash, cabbage, broccoli. Fall is a very popluar time at the orchard where visitors enjoy pick your own apples and pumpkins as well as country kid's play area and corn maze. Now in the 4th generation of family farming, the Tuttle-Roney family strives to grow the highest quality fruit and vegetables. Our year farm store is open year round and features a variety of local and gourmet food products.
