About Us / Wilson Banner Ranch History: Wilson Banner Ranch has been sustainably owned and operated since 1888. Currently the third and fourth generation Wilson's are farming. Over the decades we have grown every crop imaginable, now we grow 50 different crops. Our diversification has allowed us to survive in a fickle market. We grow several different orchard, row, and hoop-house crops. We also have laying chickens that we use as part of our integrated pest management program. We host uPicks throughout the season as well as a large harvest fair each fall. Our farm tours in October have been popular for decades. We enjoy working with the community to support ag education. We have been instrumental in starting several of the areas farmers markets and though we regularly attend the local 50 (the closest markets) our goal is to spend more time on the Ranch with our family farming. We believe farming is a science that should take in to account all knowledge and not bury itself in labels. Our focus is to leave the land as good or better than we found it. As a generational farm we have strong ties to our ancestors, our parents, our siblings, our children and our community...these responsibilities show in the way we farm and the way we conduct our business. We are first and foremost land stewards. We live here. This isn't a hobby. We invite you to come visit our farm, see our springs, the Alpowa Creek that nourishes our fields, walk the rocky paddocks out to the pumpkins during autumn and pick peaches on the hills in the summer. We are blessed by loyal customers and excellent staff. Thank you for considering us as your food provider. We take the work seriously.
