Born on the Fourth of July

July 4th Survey

4th of July – It's time again to celebrate the stars and stripes! I was reading an interesting article this morning on Farm Bureau. A traditional 4th of July picnic including hot dogs, cheeseburgers, pork spare ribs, potato salad, baked beans, lemonade and chocolate milk will cost 5% more this year than in 2013 coming in at $5.87 per person. I can’t wait! Here’s a couple of Agrilicious tips from the crew. Look for the lean meat -- at least 90 percent. If you can’t pull off a juicy gut-bomb – consider an alternative burger – perhaps turkey, portabella mushroom, black bean or perhaps even a beet burger!
