Genetically Modified Organisms

Most developed nations consider GMOs to not be safe for human consumption. These countries have placed significant restrictions or bans on the production and sale of Genetically Modified Organisms. However the U.S. government has approved GMOs based on studies conducted the corporations who created these products and not by accredited independent sources.

While also allowing the companies who use GMO’s to not have to label their product so consumers do not get easy access to the information on whether or not a product contains a GMO. Right now over 80% of the food contains GMO’s, most of this food is the stuff being feed to children causing their bodies to develop food allergies and even long term health impacts.

Some of the most common GMO foods are soy, cotton, canola, corn, alfalfa and Squash mostly the Zucchini and yellow. Our population here in the United States need to start demanding more transparency and real research be done by outside accredited sources so we can get the information we are entitled to.
